Patent Agents Qualifying Examination
(PAQE) 2007 Passers
The announcement was made by the IP Philippines PAQE
Board through Resolution No. 2008-001 dated 26 February
2008, after a determination of the names of successful
candidates based on the scores garnered. There were
nineteen (19) successful examinees out of the 33 who
took the exams.
The examination process was institutionalized to professionalize
the patent agency practice in the Philippines and in
order to establish a cadre of patent agents who have
the appropriate technical and science disciplines. Patent
agents are professionals who assist those who file patent
applications with IP Philippines. The 2007 PAQE was
administered last July 17, 2007.
Congratulations Atty. Dax Malony Montealegre!
