Ana Liza Bagay-Villamor
Admitted to the bar in 1995
Ms. Bagay-Villamor received a B.A. in Economics from
the University of the Philippines and an L.L.B. from
the University of the Philippines. Her legal practice
centers on Government liaison and intellectual property
registration work, more specifically, trademark, design
and patent registration – both locally and internationally.
She was an Accounts Analyst of the Development Bank
of the Philippines. Subsequently, she was connected
with the Tariff Commission initially as an Economics
Specialist and later as a Legal Officer, where she was
responsible for the Commission's executive and
legislative policy recommendations on trade. She was
involved in the public hearings conducted in connection
with the imposition of dumping and countervailing.
She was also a Legal Manager in the Legal and Corporate
Affairs Department of Golden ABC, Inc. where she specialized
in taxation and intellectual property protection.
